She was born in Ashe County, N.C. She was a member of Surry Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Daniel B. Baldwin; two daughters, Mrs. Elaine B. Wade of Wakefield, and Mrs. Evelyn B. Bracey of Fayetteville, N.C.; a son, Daniel L. Baldwin of Wakefield; her father, Bland Stevens of Todd, N.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Sue S. Saunders of Lenoir, N.C., and Mrs. Catherine S. O’Neil of Hendersonville, N.C; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Purviance Funeral Home chapel by the Rev. E. Lee Chattin. Burial will be in Wakefield Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 8:30.
