She was a member of Millfield Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, James Willard Ballard; two sons, Johnnie W. Ballard of Ivor and James E. Ballard of Wakefield; a sister, Mrs. Myrtie B. Brinkley of Suffolk; a brother, Floyd Byrd of Suffolk, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Purviance Funeral Home by the Rev. R.E.
