Barker, 71, son of the late William J. and Clementine Simmons Barker of Southampton County, will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday. There will be a short service at the home in Wakefield, conducted by the Rev. Robert H. Humphrey, with a Masonic service at the grave in Spring Hill Cemetery. Mr. Barker, who died Sunday afternoon following a brief illness, is a Mason and a member of the Methodist Church of Wakefield. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Victoria Drewry Barker; three sons, J.N., S.T. Jr. and Frances D. Barker of Wakefield; two daughters, Mrs. C.H. Rowe of Courtland, and Miss Elizabeth Barker of Wakefield; four grandchildren, six sisters, Mrs. Cora Rollings of Suffolk, Miss Kate Barker of Wakefield, Misses Pearl, Ruth, Erma and Sadie Barker of Richmond; three brothers, W.K., B.O., and H.L. Barker of Richmond.
