AMY BAILEY BARRETT 

MRS. AMY B. BARRETT 

  SURRY - Mrs. Amy Bailey Barrett, 79, died Saturday in Southampton Memorial 
Hospital.

  A lifelong resident of Surry, she was a member of Rocky Hock United 
Methodist Church.

  Survivors include five sisters, Mrs. Gladys B. Roach of Waverly, Mrs. Ethel 
B. Spratley of Surry, Mrs. Edith B. Reynolds of Richmond, Mrs. Wilma B. 
Rountree of Smithfield and Mrs. Annie Lee Harvell of Pouquot Lakes, Minn., 
and several nieces and nephews. 

  A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday in Purviance Funeral Chapel, 
Wakefield, by the Rev. James Tongue and the Rev. Ron. Sowers.  Burial will be 
in the Wakefield Cemetery.

  The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of 
contributions to the Ivor or Waverly Rescue Squads.
