CLIFTON LEE BARRETT 

  DENDRON - Clifton Lee Barrett, 81, died Wednesday in Petersburg hospital.

  Born in Sussex County, he was a retired service station operator.  He was 
a Methodist.

  A Sussex County native, he was a retired service station operator. [sic] 

  Survivors include his wife, Laura Johnson Barrett of Dendron; one daughter, 
Nancy B. Smith of Dendron; a sister, Mrs. Mary B. Staples of Colonial Heights; 
and a grandchild.

  A funeral will conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Purviance Funeral Home chapel, 
Wakefield, by the Rev. Samuel Askew.

  Burial will be in Wakefield Cemetery.

  The family will receive friends at the residence in Dendron.

  DENDRON - Clifton Lee Barrett, 81, died Wednesday. May 1 in Petersburg 
General Hospital. 

  A Sussex County native, he was a retired service station operator. 

  Survivors include his wife. Laura Johnson Barrett of Dendron; one daughter, 
Nancy B. Smith of Dendron; one grandson, Mike Smith of Dendron and one sister, 
Mary B. Staples of Colonial Heights. 

  Services were held Friday. May 3 at 11 a.m. in the Purviance Funeral Home 
Chapel in Wakefield with the Rev. Samuel Askew officiating.  Burial was in the 
Wakefield Cemetery. 

  Purviance Funeral Home in Wakefield was in charge of the arrangements.
