MATTIE BULLS BRADSHAW

   WAVERLY - A funeral service for Mrs. Mattie B. Bradshaw was conducted 
Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Purviance Funeral Chapel, Wakefield, by the Rev. J.L. 
Blackwell and the Rev. John Crocker.  Burial was in Waverly Cemetery.

   Pallbearers were J.B. Sheffield, Clifton Britt, L.E. Pope, A.L. McCoy, 
Dennis Hartz, P.D. Carlisle, J.B. Traylor and George Van Cleef.

   Mrs. Bradshaw, 70, died Monday in a Suffolk hospital.

   A native of Southampton county, she was a daughter of Irvin and Mrs. Maggie 
Pond Bulls and the wife of Charles Lee Bradshaw.

   She was a member of Waverly Baptist Church.

   Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Gladys B. Horne of 
Waverly; three sons, John S. Bradshaw of Roanoke and Wesley E. Bradshaw and W. 
Curtis Bradshaw of Waverly; three sisters, Mrs. Rob Raiford of Ivor, Mrs. 
Annie B. Drake of Suffolk, and Mrs. John Branch of Sedley; five brothers, 
Rossie Bulls, and Otis Bulls of Sedley, and Charlie Bulls, Jasper Bulls, and 
Edward Bulls of Ivor; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
