Birdsong, 68, employee of a lumber company at Emporia, Va., died Tuesday at his home near here. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Traylor-Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, with burial here. Surviving is one brother, John C. Birdsong, of Wakefield. His father's D.Cert. 2264 (Wakefield #1) gives buried 6 Jan 1928 at home, Wakefield; sn/o John Birdsong & Miss Lineir [sic; LANIER]. George m.
