ALBERT HURLEY BRITTLE 

  Funeral services for Albert Hurley Brittle, 74, who died in Newport News 
Tuesday, June 20, were conducted in Spring Hill Church cemetery on Thursday, 
June 22 by the Rev. J.L. Blackwell.

  He was a lifelong resident of Sussex County, son of Junius A. and Susan 
Presson Brittle and a member of the Waverly Baptist Church.  There are no 
immediate survivors.

  Pallbearers were James W. Cooper, Stanley Bage, L.E. Pope, Fitzhugh Carr, 
Marshall Brittle and John L. Seely.  Purviance Funeral Home was in charge 
of arrangements.
