BRITTLE DIES IN WAKEFIELD Mrs. Lucy A. Brittle, 71, wife of Emmett W. Brittle, died at her home in Wakefield Wednesday afternoon after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 3:00 o’clock from the residence, with burial in Wakefield Cemetery. Dr. A.W.H. Jones, pastor of Wakefield Baptist Church, of which the decreased had been a member for over 30 years, will conduct the rites. Mrs. Brittle was born in Sussex County, a daughter of William Presson and Mrs. Emma Presson. She had spent all her life in her native county. Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. C.H. Taylor; a grandson, Charles H. Traylor, and three nephews, Oscar L. Brittle of Newport News, Hurley Brittle of Waverly, and John Watkins Presson of Baltimore. Laura Lucy A. (PRESSON; Mrs. Emmett W.)
