Brittle, died at her home here Sunday. Mrs. Brittle, who was 100 years and four months old at the time of her death, was born in Sussex County, near Wakefield, May 12, 1844. She was the daughter of Wilken [sic; Wilkins] White and Martha A. Bain. In 1866 she was married to Benjamin W. Brittle, who died 28 years ago. She is survived by one son, Emmett W. Brittle; one granddaughter Mrs. C.W. Traylor; one great-grandson, Charles H. Traylor, Jr., and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at the home Monday at 4 p.m. Burial will be in the Wakefield Cemetery. Martha Ann (WHITE; Mrs. Benjamin W.)
