She was an active and devoted member of Wakefield Baptist Church. Mrs. Branch was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Pettaway Beale and Anna Estelle Wade Beale, and her husband, John R. "Spottie" Branch. Mrs. Branch is survived by her son, John R. "Bobby" Branch, Jr. and his wife, Terri; daughters, Patricia B. Gross and her husband, Butch; and Faye B. Cook and her husband, Frank; grandchildren, Jeremy Branch and his wife, Melissa, Erin Branch Byrum and her husband, Ryan, Bobby Gross and his wife, Jennie, Tyler Gross and his wife, Christina, Laura Gross McManus and her husband, Adam, and Karen Cook Smith and her husband, Phillip; great-grandson, David Gross; great-granddaughter Hannah Gross; and a sister, Jackqueline Beale Jackson and her husband, Aubrey of Cape Coral, Fla. A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010, at Wakefield Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Kerr officiating. Burial was private.
