ISHMUEL EDISON BRANCH 

MR. ISHMUEL E. BRANCH 

  WAKEFIELD - Mr. Ishmuel E. Branch, 67, died Monday at McGuire Hospital in 
Richmond.

  He was a lifelong resident of Wakefield.

  He retired as an instructor from the Federal Correctional Institute.

  He was a 26th Army Division veteran of World War II and recipient of the 
Bronze Star.

  He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 198 AF & AM and the Green Level Hunt 
Club.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Posie Neal Branch; a son, Ishmuel E. 
Branch, Jr. of Wakefield; two sisters, Mrs. Frances B. Brittle and Mrs. 
Rebecca B. Rickman, both of Wakefield; two brothers, John Robert Branch of 
Wakefield and George N. Branch, Jr. of Hopewell.

  A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Purviance Funeral Home 
Chapel by the Rev. E. Lee Chattin.  Burial will follow in Wakefield Cemetery.

  The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. tonight at the funeral 
home.
