Cotten, 72, who died Monday, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Wakefield Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Collier Cotten; two sons, the Rev. E.T. Cotten of Cincinnati and Wilton Cotten of Dendron; seven daughters, Mrs. J.B. Ingram and the Misses Irene and Charlotte Cotten of Dendron, Mrs. R.L. Murphy of Wakefield, Mrs. Raymond Johnson of Woodville and Mrs. Roy Burgess and Mrs. Woodrow Laine of Richmond; four grandchildren, two brothers, David Cotten of Richmond and Albert J. Cotten of Greensboro, N.C., and a half-sister, Mrs. T.J. Dickerson of Dendron.
