FLOYD THOMAS CLARK 

  HAMPTON - Floyd Thomas Clark Sr., 83, of 1374 Big Bethel Road, died Thursday 
in Riverside Hospital.

  Born in Waverly, he was a Hampton resident for 42 years.

  He retired as the superintendent of streets for the City of Hampton in 1966 
after 24 years of service.

  He was a member of West Hampton Baptist Church.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary W. Clark; a daughter, Mrs. Grace C. 
Sain of Hampton; a son, Floyd T. Clark, Jr., of Hampton, Two brothers, R.W. 
Clark of Hampton, and B.H. Clark of Newport News; two grandchildren, and a 
great-grandchild.

  A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in R. Hayden Smith Funeral 
Home by the Rev. William C. Russ of West Hampton Baptist Church and the Rev. 
Earl T. Dalton of Big Bethel Baptist Church.

  Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Park.

  The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight in the funeral home.

  The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of 
contributions to the building funds of West Hampton Baptist Church or Big 
Bethel Baptist Church.
