MARGARET FLORENCE WOOTEN COUNCIL 

  Margaret Wooten Council, 84, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at Louise 
Obici Memorial Hospital in Suffolk, Va.  A homemaker and resident of Waverly, 
she was the widow of James Wayland Council.  Mrs. Council is survived by 
several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 10, 
2005 at 3 p.m. at Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, with Jerry Edwards 
officiating.  Interment will be in the Wakefield Cemetery, Wakefield, Va. 
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening 6:30 
to 8 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the 
Alzheimer’s Association or the American Cancer Society, chapters of your 
choice.
