Cannon of Suffolk, freight agent for the Norfolk & Western Railway Company, died at 8 a.m. Tuesday at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Suffolk Christian Church. Burial will be at Wakefield. Mr. Cannon is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary S. Cannon; two sons, Jesse Cannon of Roanoke and Linwood Cannon of Farmville, and three brothers and a sister.
