Robert L. Consolvo and Rev. L.P. Bland. Burial was in Wakefield Cemetery. Pallbearers were S.A. Whitmore Sr., J.N. Barker, John Little, W.M. Cole, Daniel Gay and E.L. Harris. Mrs. Cornwell, 78, died in the Hermitage Home in Richmond Friday. A native of Southampton County, she was a daughter of John and Mrs. Josephine Cosby Pittman and the widow of Leroy J. Cornwell. She was a member of Wakefield Methodist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. J. Frederick Boykins of Newport News and Mrs. Ruby C. Drewry of Richmond; two sons, L.J. Cornwell Jr. of Tucson, Ariz., and John A. Cornwell of Neward, Del.; six grand-children; and a great grandson.
