CAPT. LEROY JASON CORNWELL, III 

  Capt. Leroy Jason Cornwell, III born August 5, 1944 in Richmond, Va., killed 
in the line of duty on September 10, 1971 in Laos.  Survived by his parents, 
Leroy and Olivia Cornwell of Tucson.  Friends may call at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, 
Dodge Chapel, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, March 31, 1996.  Graveside 
Services and Military Honors will be held at South Lawn Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. 
Monday, April 1, 1996 with Chaplain Capt. Thomas B. Porter and Rev. Wm. 
Denlinger officiating.  Arrange by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. 
Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway)

   which states: 
   Capt. LeRoy J. Cornwell, III's F4 fighter was shot down on Sept. 10, 1971 
   on a mission out of Udon, Thailand.  Capt. Cornwell was listed as missing 
   in action and was declared dead by the Defense Department two years later.
