LIZZIE DORA PRICE CORNWELL 

  Lizzie D. Cornwell, 57, of 2601 E. La Madera Dr., died April 9th.  
Survived by husband, Leroy J. Cornwell, Jr.; son, Leroy J. III; sister, 
Mrs. W.B. Goodrich; brothers, Lee, R.W., and Eugene Price.  Services and 
interment in Wakefield, Virginia.  Local arrangements by Arizona Mortuary.

LIZZIE P. CORNWELL 

  Mrs. Lizzie Price Cornwell, 57, of Tuscon, Ariz., died April 9 after 
extended illness in a hospital at Tuscon.  She was a member of the First 
Methodist Church in Tuscon and was a lifetime member of the Wakefield 
Methodist Church W.S.C.S.  She was a native of Surry County and a graduate of 
Wakefield High School.  She attended Farmville State Teacher’s College.

  She was the daughter of the late John T. and Endora Pond Price and is 
survived by her husband, LeRoy J. Cornwell, Jr., of Tuscon, Arizona; one son, 
LeRoy J. Cornwell III; one sister, Mrs. W.B. Goodrich of Borrowsville; three 
brothers, J. Lee Price and R. Wilton Price, both of Brandon, and Eugene F. 
Price of Windsor, N.C., and two nieces and six nephews.

  Services will be held at Purviance Funeral Home on Thursday, April 15, at 
2 p.m., with Rev. L.P. Bland and Rev. E.B. Owen officiating.  Burial will be 
in the Wakefield Cemetery.

  Pallbearers will be W.B. Goodrich, Jr., Eugene Price, Jr., Leslie Price, 
Herman Price, G.C. Coward, Leon Peele and William Jenkins.

  In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions be made to the 
Wakefield Methodist Church.
