Cornwell, Jr., on Saturday, February 14. Mr. Cornwell was the husband of Mrs. Virginia Pittman Cornwell of Wakefield and the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Cornwell. He was a member of the Wakefield Methodist Church and a veteran of the Spanish-American War. Besides his wife and eldest son he is survived by another son, John A. Cornwell of Wilmington, Del.; two daughters, Mrs. J.F. Boykins of Burkeville and Mrs. Ruby Drewry of Wakefield; four grandchildren; four brothers, A.S. Cornwell and O.R. Cornwell of Norfolk, Gurney Cornwell of Emporia, and Lester E. Cornwell of Sedley; and one sister, Mrs. Lida Pond of Richmond. Funeral services for Mr. Cornwell were held at 11 o'clock Monday morning at the Wakefield Methodist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Members of the Old Men's Bible Class of the church were honorary pallbearers. Active pallbearers were C.A. Anderson, J.N. Barker, H.E. Drewry, Sr., S.A. Whitmore, John W. Wooten and V.L.
