EVELYN LAURA KAYLE FAISON 

  ESCONDIDO - Evelyn Laura Faison, 89, died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2000, in 
Escondido.

  Born Sept. 29, 1910, in Providence, R.I., she lived in Escondido for 
11 years.  She was a homemaker.

  Mrs. Faison was preceded in death by her husband, West Faison, Sr., 
in 1991.  She is survived by her companion of 15 years, Chico Faison 
of Escondido; son and daughter-in-law West, Jr. and Sharon Faison of 
Montgomery, Texas; daughter and son-in-law Barbara and Fred Browand of 
Altadena; one brother, one sister; grandchildren Leslie Browand, Terry 
Browand Gordon and Douglas Browand; and great-grandchildren Julian Gordon, 
Zoey Gordon, Halie Gordon and Ray Mueller.

  No service will be held at the request of the deceased.  A private 
cremation is planned.

  Alhiser-Comer Mortuary is handling arrangements.
