All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ ELMER ELIZABETH EDWARDS FAISON Mrs. Elizabeth Edwards Faison, 75, died March 10 at Obici Memorial Hospital, Nansemond, after a brief illness. The daughter of Joseph C. and Elizabeth Emory Edwards, she was a lifelong resident of Surry County and a member of the Dendron Baptist Church. Survivors are her husband, Robert E. Faison of Dendron; a daughter, Mrs. James A. Threewitts of Dendron; and three grandsons, J. Barry Threewitts of Harrisonburg and Robert F. and Thomas R. Threewitts of Dendron. The funeral was conducted Monday, March 12, at Purviance Funeral Chapel, Wakefield. Burial was at the Wakefield Cemetery. The Rev. Ed Griffin, the Rev. R.E. Brittle and the Rev. Phillip R. Hart officiated. Pallbearers were Darnold Hart, Tom Bell, Wilton Bell, John S. Huber, Frederick Huber, and Wallace Faison. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that donations be made to the Surry Baptist Church or to the Surry Volunteer Rescue Squad. Elmer Elizabeth (EDWARDS; Mrs. Robert E.)
