J.E. McCauley, pastor of the Waverly Christian Church. Burial will be in the family cemetery at Burton's Grove, Sussex County. Mrs. Faison, 53, died Thursday at 7 a.m. at her home at Littleton after a long illness. She was a lifelong resident at Sussex County, the daughter at the late Salathiel and Mrs. Mildred Denson Barrett. Surviving are her husband, Dollie B. Faison of Littleton; five sons, Robert R. Faison and B. Woody Faison, both of Franklin; Hartwell E. Faison of Richmond and D.B. Faison and Wilmer F. Faison, both of Littleton; three daughters, Mrs. Mills Eure of Biloxi, Miss.; Mrs. Horace Griffin of Whaleyville and Mrs. Randolph Murphy of Wakefield; 14 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Mary Pearl Faison of Franklin; two brothers, Mills B. Barrett of Zuni and Davis S. Barrett of Courtland. Martha Iola (BARRETT; Mrs. "Dollie" Dalbaly B.) Her father was a Confederate veteran, having served as a private in Co. D, 44th Battalion VA Infantry, until paroled at Appomattox C.H. He and her mother were both Confederate pensioners. Her paternal grandfather, Rev. Mills Burwell BARRETT, was also a Confederate veteran, having served as a chaplain. He is buried in a BRITTLE family cemetery on Ivor Rd.
