Babb, in Ivor, Va. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Babb, Mrs. G.F. Johnson, of Franklin, Va.,; Mrs. Russell Lewis, of Wakefield, and Mrs. C.J. Thompson, of Raleigh, N.C.; four sons, R.A. Faison of Ashland ; S.H. and J.D. Faison of Wakefield, and R.L. Faison of Newport News; one brother, F.F. Faison, of Wakefield; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral rites will be held at the grave in Wakefield Cemetery at 3 p.m. Thursday. ****************************************************************************** Robert L. Faison, 86 Buried Jan. 24th At Wakefield Robert Lee Faison, 86, of Wakefield, died January 22nd at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Shelton H. Babb, of Ivor, after being in ill health for more than a year. He was the husband of the late Mrs. Mae Dillard Faison. who died in March of last year, and was the son of the late Robert Dempsey and Sarah Caroline White Faison [sic*] of Sussex County. Mr. Faison was a member of Wakefield Congregational Church. Beside Mrs. Babb, he is survived by three other daughters, Mrs. G.J. Johnson, of Franklin; Mrs. Russell Jenkins of Wakefield, and Mrs. C.J. Thompson of Raleigh, N.C.; four sons, R.A. Faison, of Ashland; R.L. Faison, of Newport News and D.H. Faison and J.D. Faison, both of Wakefield; 10 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; a brother, F.F. Faison, of Wakefield, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the grave in Wakefield Cemetery at 3 P.M. Thursday with the Rev. J.L. Blankenship and Dr. J.E. White officiating.
