DEMPSEY WEST FAISON 

  ESCONDIDO, CALIF. - D. West Faison, 81, a Wakefield native, died Monday 
May 6, in his home.

  Mr. Faison was the retired president of Lock Joint Pipe, Co. of Puerto Rico.

  He was a 1925 graduate of Wakefield High School and Richmond Business School 
graduate.  He was a Presbyterian.

  Mr. Faison was a past president of the Rotary Club of Puerto Rico and was a 
member of the Elks, St. John the Baptist Masonic Lodge of San Juan and the 
Navy League.

  Survivors include his wife, Evelyn West Faison; a daughter, Barbara F. 
Broward of Alta Dena, Calif.; a son, D. West Faison Jr. of Carrollton, Texas; 
and three grandchildren.

  A funeral will be conducted at Wakefield Cemetery at a later date.

  Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, is in charge.
