MAGDALENA KARALFA FARRELL WAVERLY - Sgt. Magdalena K. Farrell (USA-Ret), 71, died Thursday in McGuire Veterans Administration Hospital, Richmond. She was a native of Johnstown, Pa., and retired in 1964 after 20 years service with the Woman’s Army Corps. Survivors include two sisters, Misses Rose and Elizabeth Karalfa, both of Johnstown. A funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, by the Rev. Norman Murphy. Burial, with military rites, will be in Wakefield Cemetery.
