     Mrs. Arvilla Freeman 

  WAKEFIELD-Mrs. Arvilla Seeley 
Freeman, 81, died Tuesday morning in the 
Medic Center Norfolk. 
after a long illness. 
  A native of Sussex County, she was the 
widow of Melvin A. Freeman. 
  She was a member of the Wakefield United 
Methodist Church. 
  Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Les- 
lie A. Bass of Wakefield; a son, McAllen 
Freeman of Richmond; two brothers, 
Ralph E. Seeley of Wakefield and Clifton 
Seeley of Custard, Ohio; four grandchil- 
dren; four stepgrandchildren; and , two 
great-grandchildren. 
  A funeral will be held today at 2 p.m. 
in Purviance Funeral Chapel, Wakefield, 
by the Rev. J. Ed Griffin.  Burial will be 
in Ivor Cemetery.

Sussex Co. native, d. 14 Jun 1977, Norfolk, age 61, 
interred in Ivor Cemetery*, 15 Jun 1977, 
donated obit, publication unknown;

   likely from the funeral home
