TESSIE FREEMAN SUFFOLK - Mrs. Tessie Evelyn Gardner Freeman, 70, died Thursday in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital. Born in Nansemond County, she was a member of Wakefield Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Carolyn F. Glover of Suffolk; a sister, Mrs. Alice G. Rollings of Wakefield; and a grandchild. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, by the Rev. Jerry Edwards and the Rev. Steven Edwards. Burial will be in Wakefield Cemetery.
