Freeman, 46, of near Wakefield, a farmer, died Wednesday while visiting in Ivor, Southampton County. He was a member of Millfield Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Evelyn G. Freeman; one daughter, Miss Carolyn Freeman, of Wakefield; two brothers, Howard R. Freeman, of Smithfield, and Felix H. Freeman, of Richmond, and three sisters, Mrs. L.E. Pope, of Waverly, and Mrs. Claude Parkinson and Miss Evelyn Freeman, of Richmond. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Purviance Funeral Home here, with burial in Wakefield Cemetery.
