ROSE BRANCH GOODRICH

  WAKEFIELD - Mrs. Rose Branch Goodrich, age 67, a resident of Wakefield, died 
on Friday, June 2, 1995, at Waverly Health Care Center in Waverly.

  Mrs. Goodrich was a native of Surry County and was the daughter of the late 
Fenton E. and Lizzie Freeman Branch.  She was a member of the Wakefield 
Congregational Christian Church.

  She is survived by her husband, C.L. "Peter" Goodrich; a daughter, Janice G. 
Hines of Broadway; a son, C. Allan Goodrich of Wakefield; a sister, Grace B. 
Kukucka of Andover, Conn.; one granddaughter, Michelle Leigh Goodrich; and 
three grandsons, Michael Hines, Scott Hines and Heath Hines.

  Funeral services will be held at Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, on 
Monday, June 5, 1995, at 11 a.m. by Rev. Woodrow Laine.  Burial will be in the 
Wakefield Cemetery.

  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 7 
to 8:30 p.m.
