KATHERINE DEVANEY FAISON GRECO 

  DENDRON - Katherine Faison Greco, a resident of Surry County, died Friday, 
Feb. 1, 2002, in Petersburg, Va.  Mrs. Greco was a resident of Surry County 
for more than 50 years.  She was born in Dendron to the late Harriet and 
Fulton Faison.  She was a graduate of Dendron High School and was married 
to the late Marino A. Greco for 56 years.

  Mrs. Greco is survived by her daughter, Judith G. Logan and husband, George, 
of St. Mary’s, Ga; a grandson, mark A. Logan and wife, Tracy, of Kingsland, 
Ga.; sisters, Evelyn Whiteman of Tabb, Va., Frances Bloxom of West Point, Va., 
and Barbara Seward of Richmond, Va.; brother, Wallace Faison of Dendron. Va.

  A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 5, in Wakefield 
Cemetery, Wakefield, Va.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on 
Monday, Feb. 4, at Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield.

  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Dendron Baptist Church 
and Surry Volunteer Rescue Squad.
