GERTRUDE LEILA CAUDLE HEBRON 

  CLAREMONT - Mrs. Gertrude C. Hebron, 73, died Tuesday in John Randolph 
Hospital, Hopewell.

  She was born in Jefferson County, Ohio.  She had lived in Claremont since 
1976.

  She was a retired bookkeeper.

  She was a member of Claremont Baptist Church.

  Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Barbara Murphy of St. Thomas, Virgin 
Islands, Mrs. Evelyn Morse of Cape Hatteras, N.C., and Mrs. Marion Proffitt of 
Claremont; a son, James Dean Hebron of Herndon; 10 grandchildren and nine 
great-grandchildren.

  A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Wakefield 
Cemetery by the Rev. Hugh Mayes.

  The family will be at the home of Mrs. Proffitt in Claremont.

  The family request that expressions of sympathy take the form of 
contributions to a favorite charity.

  Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, in in charge.
