WAKEFIELD - Everette Allen Hatch, Jr., a member of the Wakefield Town Planning Commission and former town councilman from 1970-1976, died Saturday in a Suffolk hospital. Mr. Hatch, 67, was a native of Sussex County, a veteran of World War II and a retired bookkeeper and accountant. He was a member and steward of Wakefield United Methodist Church. Waverly American Legion Post and a 45-year member of Masonic Lodge No. 198. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Frances Johnson Hatch; two sons, Maj. E.A. Hatch, III, with the Air Force in Dover, Del., and R. Rebb Hatch of Suffolk; a sister, Mrs. Katherine H. Whitfield of Farmville, and two grandchildren. A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, by the Rev. F.A. Duncan and the Rev. L.T. Blanc. Burial with Masonic rites, will be in Wakefield Cemetery. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Ivor Rescue Squad.
