Mrs. Hatch was a member of Wakefield United Methodist Church, the Thomas Rolfe Branch of the Association of the Preservation of Virginia Antiquities and the General William Mahone Chapter of the Daughters of the Confederacy. Survived by two sons, Everett A. Hatch III of Norman, Okla.; R. Webb Hatch of Alexandria; a sister, Ruby J. Leigh of Drewryville; and two granddaughters. Funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday at Purviance Funeral Home. Burial in Wakefield Cemetery. The family is at the residence at 217 Main Street. ****************************************************************************** SARAH FRANCES JOHNSON HATCH Frances Johnson Hatch, 79, a resident of Main St., Wakefield, died Sunday, May 23, 1993 at her home. She was a native of Southampton Co. and was daughter of the late Walter Taylor and Nannie Whitfield Johnson. She was widow of Everette A. Hatch, Jr. She was a member of the Wakefield United Methodist Church, the Thomas Rolfe Branch, APVA, and the General William Mahone Chapter, United Daughters of the Confederacy. She is survived by two sons, Everett A. Hatch, III, Norman, OK, and R. Webb Hatch, Alexandria; a sister, Ruby J. Leigh, Drewryville; and two granddaughters, Julie and Erin Hatch, Fort Worth, TX. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 1993 at 2:00 p.m. in Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield. Burial will be in the Wakefield Cemetery.
