Mr. Hatch was a member of Wakefield United Methodist Church, General William Mahone Chapter of Sons of Confederate Veterans and Woodmen of the World Surry Camp. Survived by his wife, Anne Edwards Hatch; a daughter, Anne Elizabeth Hatch Joyner; and two grandchildren. Graveside service 3 p.m. Friday in Wakefield Cemetery. The family is at the residence.
