He was preceded in death by his parents, James Frederick Holland, Sr. and Lillie Inez Bailey Holland and his brother, James Frederick Holland, Jr. Buddy was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, A.P. Hill Camp 167 in Colonial Heights and had worked as a type setter for the Sussex and Surry Dispatch Newspaper. He is survived by his brothers, Clarence E. Holland and wife, Barbara and Verne B. Holland and wife, Jean all of Florida; three nephews and one niece. Private services were held in Buddy’s memory.
