B.R. HARVELL Mrs. Bertha Richardson Harvell, 66, of Wakefield, died January 7, at Norfolk Nursing Home after a long illness. She was a member of the Wakefield Christian Church and a native and life-long resident of Sussex County. She is survived by her husband, J.G. Harvell, of Wakefield, 1 daughter, Mrs. Teresa Caption, of Wakefield; 3 sons, J.G. Harvell, Jr., of Bellevue, Neb., Arrington Rollings, of Brandywine, Md., six grandchildren and six great- grandchildren. Funeral services were held January 9 at the Purviance Funeral Chapel with the Rev. H.E. Crutchfield and J.E. McCauley officiating. Burial was in Wakefield Cemetery. Pallbearers were R.M. Cobb, W.A. Beale, C.A. Anderson, P.J. Holmes, M.C. Seeley, Guy Ringer, Bernard Bailey and Elliott Caption. Honorary pallbearers were friends of the family. Find a Grave calls it Springhill Cemetery. (Mem. #52731480 &c.) Her first husband, Wiley A. ROLLINGS (1856 - 1911), is buried with his parents in a ROLLINGS family cemetery on Wakefield Rd.
