RANSOM LYNN HARVELL

   Wakefield - Funeral services for Ransom Lynn Harvell, 89, were held Friday at 
2:30 p.m. in Mill Swamp Church Cemetery, near Ivor, by the Rev. J.L. Buckingham.

   He died Wednesday morning in his home.

   A native of Southampton County, he was the husband of Mrs. Lucille Bowden 
Harvell. He was a lifelong farmer and a member of Ivor Baptist Church.

   Other survivors include two sons, R.L. Harvell Jr. of Colonial Heights and E. 
Randolph Harvell of Disputanta; a daughter, Mrs. Jean H. Baker of Manassas; a 
sister, Mrs. Nannie H. Smith of Richmond; and four grandchildren.

   Memorial donations may be made to Ivor Rescue Squad of Ivor Baptist Church.
