LILLIAN GERTRUDE SLADE HARGRAVE 

  WAKEFIELD - Mrs. Lillian Slade Hargrave, of Franklin, died Dec. 12 in 
Roanoke Valley Nursing Home, Rich Square, N.C.

  A native of Surry County, she was a member of Franklin Congregational 
Christian Church.

  Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Alma Schillar of Goldsboro, N.C., 
Mrs. Margaret Worrell of Newsoms and Mrs. Rae Frankfort of Savannah, Ga.; 
six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

  A funeral was conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Purviance Funeral Home, 
Wakefield, by the Rev. Harry Bunch.  Burial was in Wakefield Cemetery.
