J.M. Tongue. Burial was in Wakefield Cemetery. Memorial donations may be sent to the Ivor Rescue Squad. Pallbearers were D.B. Cox, T.H. Hines, Elliott Holt, Joseph Holt, Howard Poteet, and Allan Morris. Joyner a native of Isle of Wight County, died Friday in a hospital. She was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include two sisters, Helen J. Poteet of Portsmouth and Ida J. White of Norfolk; a brother, Dudley J. Joyner of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.
