ALEXANDER NOBLE JORDAN 

  Alexander Noble Jordan, 90, of 2128 East Pembroke Ave., Hampton, died Sunday 
night in Dixie Hospital after a brief illness.

  A native of Prince George County, he made his home on Hampton after 
retirement as a Surry County merchant.  Mr. Jordan was a member of Dendron 
Baptist Church.  He was a son of the late Nobel A. and Virginia Harrison 
Jordan. [sic*] 

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gertrude Presson Jordan, two sons, Edwin N. 
Jordan and Eugene M. Jordan; and two grandchildren, all of Hampton.

  Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. today in Purviance Funeral Home, 
Wakefield.  The Rev. Dr. Alfred J. Duncan, pastor of Dendron Baptist Church 
will officiate.  Burial will be in Wakefield Cemetery.

  The family has requested that friends may make donations to the Dendron 
Methodist Church in lieu of flowers.
