He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sally Freeman Lewis; a step-daughter, Mrs. E.R. Bowden of Vienna, Md.; two step-sons, Robert A. Freeman, serving with the army in Korea, and W. Harrell Freeman of Suffolk; his mother, Mrs. Luch James of Vienna; a brother, James L. Lewis of Birmingham, Ala.; two sisters, Miss Emily Lewis of Dover, Del., and Miss Mary Elizabeth Lewis of the Virgin Islands; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. L.J. Fisher of Vienna, and three grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Purviance Funeral Home here, with burial in Wakefield Cemetery.
