NINA LEE FREEMAN LAINE 

  Mrs. Nina Freeman Laine, died Sunday morning, June 4, 1978.  She was a 
resident of Surry County, the widow of Willie J. Laine and a member of 
Burton's Grove Christian Church.  She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Gordon 
C. Price of Elberon; a grandson, D. Eugene Brittle of Wakefield.  A funeral 
service will be held Tuesday, June 6, at 2:30 p.m. in the Purviance Funeral 
Chapel in Wakefield.  Burial will be in the Wakefield Cemetery.
