W. H. Moore.
[Special to The Times-Dispatch.]
Jarratt, Va., May 17-After a long Illness W. H. Moore, commissioner of 
revenue,  District No. 1,  Sussex county, died at the Virginia  Hospital,  
Richmond, Saturday afternoon at 6 o'clock, in  his fifty-second year. His 
remains were brought to  Jarratt Sunday morning and the funeral was conducted 
at High Hills Baptist Church Monday afternoon at l o'clock by Rev.  W. L. 
Pankey, Richmond College. The interment took place in the family square at  
High Hills.

He is survived by his wife, who before her marriage was Miss Mary L. Jones of  
Brunswick county, and five daughters and one brother and one sister.
