He was a native of Enid, Okla., and retired in 2001 from Newport News Shipbuilding as a financial analyst with 39 years of service. Mr. Moxley was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Smithfield, and a U.S. Army veteran. His parents, Ruby Grant and Willis B. Moxley, preceded Mr. Moxley in death. Survivors include his wife, Roselyn Epps Moxley; two daughters, Jodi Lyn Moxley Altman and her husband, Kevin, of Mechanicsville, Va., Jeri Leigh Moxley of Berkeley, Calif.; two sisters, Joyce M. Shultz of Wichita Falls, Texas, Joyce M. Marler of Enid. Okla.; two grandsons, Joshua Grant Altman and Joseph Connor Altman. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 7, in Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, Smithfield, with the Rev. Harry Spear and the Rev. Donald Ray Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Wakefield Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, December 6, at Colonial Funeral Home.
