RICHARD CLEMENT MOORE, III 

  WAKEFIELD - Richard Clement Moore, III, 15, died Sunday, July 18, 1999, at 
his home in Wakefield.  He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church of Waverly 
and had just completed the ninth grade at Sussex Central High School in Sussex 
County.

  He is survived by his parents, Richard Clement Moore, Jr. and Jessica 
Collins Moore of Wakefield; his maternal grandmother, Zelma Latham Collins of 
Washington, N.C.; his paternal grandmother, Mary Virginia Johnson Moore of 
Emporia; an aunt, Sarah Collins Kushner of San Rafael, Calif.; and an uncle, 
Austin N. Moore of Roanoke Rapids, N.C. 

  A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Wakefield 
Cemetery with the Rev. Macon Walton officiating.  The family will receive 
friends at their residence at 136 W. Main St.  Memorial donations may be made 
to Christ Episcopal Church, Waverly VA 23890, or to the Waverly Volunteer 
rescue squad, Waverly VA 23890.  Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield Chapel, is 
handling arrangements.
