NANCY ROGERS NICHOLSON 

  WAKEFIELD - Nancy Rogers Nicholson, 49, passed away Saturday, November 8, 
2014.  She was the daughter of Fay Pittman Rogers and the late Webster 
"Jimmie" Vernon Rogers, Jr.  Nancy was a member of Wakefield United Methodist 
Church and worked at Southside Regional Medical Center for 12 years. 
She loved to sing her favorite songs whether it was in the church choir or 
singing karaoke.

  Along with her mother, left to cherish her memory are her sons, Phillip 
Webster Nicholson and Stuart Michael Nicholson; her brother, Webster Vernon 
Rogers, III; her sister, Elizabeth "Liz" Rogers and aunts, uncles, nephews, 
a niece and a great-nephew.

  The family will receive friends Monday, November 10, 2014 at R.W. Baker & 
Co. Funeral Home, 11414 General Mahone Hwy, Wakefield, VA 23888 from 6 to 8 
p.m . A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 11, 2014 
at Wakefield United Methodist Church with Rev. Curtis Lucy officiating. 
Burial will follow in Wakefield Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial 
contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4240 Park Place Ct., 
Glen Allen, VA 23060 or to Wakefield United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 87, 
Wakefield, VA 23888.  The family would like to thank the staff at Southside 
Regional Medical Center for the special care Nancy received.
