DR. ELIZABETH JANE NETTLES 

NETTLES, ELIZABETH JANE "BETTY", PHD 

  Friday, April 22, 2014 at the age of 80. 

  Loving daughter of the late Edwin Carter Nettles and Louise Robertson 
Nettles of Wakefield, VA; dear sister of Charles Leland Nettles (Donna) 
of Syria, VA and the late Edwin Carter Nettles Jr. (the late Kathryn Chappell 
Nettles); dear aunt of Bryan Chappell Nettles (Christopher Ogle), Kathryn 
Carter Nettles (Kristie Helms), Louise Robertson Nettles (Christopher) and 
Edwin Carter Nettles III; great-aunt of Kathryn Sandberg Brodell Johnson 
(Ian), Gregory Gerard Rogan Jr. and Benjamin Leland Christopher; very special 
friend of Mrs. Ethel Mae Ellis, who was her companion and caretaker for over 
41 years.

  Dr. Nettles resided in the St. Louis area since 1956, attended Washington 
University, and served the St. Louis area for many years in the mental health 
profession.

  SERVICES: A Memorial Service will be conducted at the Episcopal Church of 
The Holy Communion, 7401 Delmar Blvd., at Jackson Qvenue, University City on 
Sunday, April 27, 2014 at 3:00 p.m.  The family will receive friends 
immediately following the Memorial Service.  Interment Wakefield Cemetery, 
Wakefield, VA on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, tax 
deductible contributions greatly appreciated to The Wakefield Foundation, P.O. 
Box 8, Wakefield,  VA 23888.  A SERVICE OF THE LUPTON CHAPEL
