CAROLINE ELIZABETH KIRBY BRITT MAGILL NEWELL 

  WAKEFIELD - Mrs. Caroline Elizabeth Kirby Newell, 78, died Friday in 
Wakefield.

  She was born in Florence, S.C.

  She was a member of Pine View Baptist Church, Heath Springs, S.C.

  Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Flora Jean Ward of Wakefield and Mrs. 
Mary Olice Faison of Henrico, N.C.; a sister, Mrs. Olive K. Hester of Dublin, 
N.C.; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

  A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Wakefield Cemetery 
by the Rev. Parker Hooper.

  The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Purviance Funeral 
Home in Wakefield.

   Joseph's parents are given as Jon BonZellas & Francilla Gillcott.  Rather, 
   they were Charles A. & Georgie (GILCOTT) NEWELL.  They & Charles' parents 
   Barzilla S. & Francilla Hayward (TRASK) NEWELL are buried in Trask Lawn 
   Cemetery, Jefferson, Lincoln Co., ME.  (Find a Grave Mem. #69037136 &c.) 

Her parents, Jas. Calhoun & Mary Olive (FLOYD) KIRBY, are buried in Bethel
