Peck, 68, died Friday in a Suffolk hospital. A native of Michigan, he was an Army [sic; Navy] veteran of World War II and a retired Surry County carpenter. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Agnes P. Minton of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Mrs. Mary E. Stewart of Phoenix, Ariz. A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. today in Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, by the Rev. James A. Cales. Burial will be in Wakefield Cemetery.
